About CMCA



The CMCA of Ottawa is a Mauritian group established in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

CMCA objectives

The objectives of the Association are to:

  1. Promote awareness among Canadians of the Cultural fabric of Mauritius.
  2. Help bring individuals together by pursuing social and educational programs and cultural activities of common interest for the benefit of the whole community.
  3. Help Mauritian Nationals coming to Ottawa as immigrants or visitors to adapt to the new environment and culture.

CMCA events and activities

We hold multiple events and activities throughout the year which include:

  • Chinese New Year, Independence day, Divali festivals amongst others
  • Regular football matches
