The Chinese New Year
celebration was a success; the Executive Committee would like to acknowledge the participation
of each and everyone involved with all aspects on this special celebration, that include decoration, transportation, bartending and ticket sale etc.,

Alain Ramanisum Live in Concert

| Avec la participation de Kiltir Morisien et Victor Rodrigues. We had a sizeable delegation of "capital" Mauritians down in T.O. for Alain Ramanisum's concert. Alain also gave a concert on September 9 in Montreal.

La Faya Ravanna Boat Cruise

A boatful of tropically-minded Mauritians and friends of Mauritius enjoyed a 4-hour cruise on the Ottawa River under perfect weather conditions. A great party atmosphere, great food, great people... the ideal recipe for an evening of fun.
Thanks to all of you who participated in, organized and coordinated the event: Patricia, Sheila, Stephanie, among others, our superb sega dancers, our photographers, our secretary Anna. Thanks also to our sponsor, Miko Dussah, of Noble Signs, and to the crew and staff of Ottawa River Cruises.
