Our President's Message

Dear friends:

My name is Bhramba Kullur, and I have been honoured to take office as President of Canada- Mauritius Cultural Association (CMCA) this year and it is with a balance of joy and emotion that I am taking this responsibility.  We have a dedicated young and agile team of executives willing to promote the noble tasks undertaken by CMCA. I would like to congratulate David Virginie and former executive members, who have demonstrated unprecedented abilities in leading CMCA in its various socio-cultural activities.

This year our slogan would be “Unity in Diversity” and that would involve creating a nexus between the Mauritian and non-Mauritian communities – our main objective remains to host cultural events and gatherings pinning important festivals in Mauritius and Canada.  Everyone’s participation and support would be very crucial in the existence and nobility of CMCA – that would give everyone the opportunity to embrace with the Association and relief the pressure and anxieties that plague us in our daily activities.  The CMCA executive team would be very much obliged to see your active involvement on every event through out the year.
